MageOS 1.0.6 & Mirror 2.4.7-p4 Released

MageOS 1.0.6 and the latest Magento Mirror 2.4.7-p4 are now available! Developers should note that Adobe Payment Services will need updates in the next release cycle.

Mage2TV Videos & Cache Cleaner Tool

Exciting news—Vinai is making all Mage2TV videos available on YouTube for free! Additionally, there’s talk about moving the Cache Cleaner tool under the MageOS namespace since so many people use it.

Development Progress

GrapesJS Page Builder Integration (#57)

Discussions are underway to introduce GrapesJS, a JavaScript-based page builder, as a more flexible and user-friendly way to manage CMS content. Davide Lunardon proposed this integration to simplify the development process while keeping Magento’s existing Page Builder intact. The main challenge is balancing ease of use with maintaining consistent design standards. Further discussions and testing will follow.

Reservations Grid Improvements (#34)

David Tabatadze has made great progress on Reservations Grid enhancements, adding an easy-to-use UI for managing reservations. The PR is complete and is awaiting final reviews and testing before being merged.

Terraform to OpenTofu Migration (#37)

The migration from Terraform to OpenTofu is officially complete. A final review is required before merging the changes, ensuring everything works as expected.

AI Translation Module Updates (#32)

Davide Lunardon and Sam made updates to the AI-powered translation module, resolving key issues with configurable product translations. A few smaller fixes are still in the pipeline.

Backend AI Assistant (#19)

A Backend AI Assistant module is ready for Mage-OS! The next step is to set up a repository in Mage-OS Lab so it can be shared and further developed by the community.
