What is the Mage-OS Brand Ambassador Program?

The Mage-OS Brand Ambassador Program is a way for Mage-OS to be more present and engaged at conferences, events, and within the global eCommerce community. Our Brand Ambassadors are community members who embody the spirit of open source and share a passion for advancing Mage-OS. They act as representatives, advocates, and champions for Mage-OS, helping spread awareness and engagement through speaking, content creation, networking, and event participation.

This program is a direct response to the need for greater Mage-OS representation at key industry conferences and events, expanding beyond board members to include notable community figures who are passionate about the platform.

Why Become a Mage-OS Brand Ambassador?

As a Mage-OS Brand Ambassador, you will:

Program Requirements

To become a Mage-OS Ambassador, individuals must meet the following criteria:

  1. Active Involvement in the Mage-OS Community: You should be an active participant in the Mage-OS ecosystem, whether through contributions, community support, or other activities.
  2. Passion for Open Source: Ambassadors should have a genuine interest in promoting open-source eCommerce solutions and a deep understanding of Mage-OS.
  3. Positive Outlook and Content: Ambassadors are expected to maintain a positive perspective and share constructive content. We will not accept individuals who post negative sentiment towards Mage-OS, Magento, or Adobe.
  4. Experience in eCommerce: Having experience with Magento, Mage-OS, or other eCommerce platforms is essential for engaging effectively with professionals in the field.
  5. Availability for regional events: Our ambassadors are our way to be present at events around the world, and that’s where you come in. We need you to share what you love about Mage-OS with your local community and events.
    Ambassadors are responsible for covering their own attendance costs. Event ticket costs might be waived in cases when Mage-OS secures a booth or the ambassador will talk on behalf of the association (subject to each event’s policies). Mage-OS can reimburse costs for buttons, stickers, and banners, subject to preapproval.
  6. Nomination: The Mage-OS Board of Directors will nominate and invite potential ambassadors based on their contributions and presence within the community.

How to Join the Program

Custom Ambassador T-Shirts

To make our ambassadors easily recognizable at events, we have designed a unique Mage-OS Ambassador T-shirt with a special Ambassador logo. This T-shirt not only highlights your role as a brand advocate but also showcases your commitment to supporting the open-source movement in the eCommerce space.

Ambassadors will receive their T-shirt upon joining the program and are encouraged to wear it proudly at all relevant events.
